Walter Lynn Pope died Oct. 27, 1997 in Denver, Colorado.
He was born June 8, 1926 in Salt Lake City, to Louis Albert and Ruth Jordan Pope. He graduated from Granite High School in 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Angeline Atkins in Tucumcari, NM, Dec. 24, 1954. He retired from Western Electric in 1954 after 33 years of service.He is survived by his wife; one son, Dr. Joseph Perry Pope (Kathy); four daughters, Mary Wright (Kim); Amy Walton (Roy); Barbara Pope; Stacy Tholen (Tim); six grandchildren; brother,
