A man accused of killing two CIA workers in a shooting rampage outside the spy agency's headquarters has brain damage, his attorney said as jury selection began in his trial.

Mir Aimal Kasi's chief lawyer asked some jury pool members Monday if they were familiar with brain seizures and whether they have religious or ethnic biases that could affect the case against Kasi, a Muslim from Pakistan.Kasi, 33, pleaded not guilty to 10 charges in the Jan. 25, 1993, shootings that left three other CIA employees wounded. He could get the death penalty if convicted of capital murder.
