The Utah Valley PAF Users Group will hold a meeting from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 8, in the "Red" LDS Chapel, 4000 N. Timpview Drive (650 East).

Alan Mann, manager of the Automated Resource Center of the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City, will be the featured speaker. His topic will be "Genealogy on the Internet." He will have a computer hooked up to the Internet to demonstrate some of the information and databases available. Mann writes genealogy and other columns for publications such as ComputerCredible magazine and has an extensive background in computers and genealogy.After the opening session six classes will be held on computing and genealogy, including a question-and-answer session by Mann. These classes are at all levels from beginning to advanced and include classes about other genealogy software and databases besides Personal Ancestral File.
