The counselor and assistant to the ambassador from Russia will speak at Brigham Young University Wednesday at noon in 238 Clark Building.

The lecture by Vladislav V. Potapov is sponsored by the Kennedy Center International Lecture series. He will speak on "Russian American Relations in the Post Cold War Period."The public is welcome to attend this free event.

Potapov graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. He also received a master's degree in international affairs. Since 1994, Potapov has worked in the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the United States. He has also participated in two U.S.-Russian Presidential Summits.
