Donna was carried beyond this veil of sorrow into a far better land of promise on June 30, 1997.

Born the morning of December 12, 1941, to Donald and Ella Horst of West Los Angeles, California, Donna Jean graduated from University High in 1959. In 1960 she married Robert Holiday in the Los Angeles LDS Temple and together they raised ten children.Donna's life was spent in the service of her father and mother, brother, husband, children and grandchildren. Her deepest joys were found in rocking her children and grandchildren, visiting late into the night with one or all of her children, and walking with her husband. Donna was very active in the LDS Church and had a profound impact on many youth in her callings.

Donna, Mom and Grandma, Life will be very very hard without you and we are already missing you more than you ever could have realized. We cry ourselves to sleep at night wishing you were still here to tuck us in. The late night talks, daily phone calls, care packages, sugar cookies, letters, Family Home Evenings, Christmas decorations, card games, and goodnight kisses will always be cherished and never forgotten. We hope you will continue to watch over us as closely as you did in this life. We will remember and pass on all that you have taught us. You've influenced our lives for the better and we are eternally thankful to Heavenly Father for the time you were with us. Until we meet again Mom, goodbye.

The services will be held Saturday, November 8, 11 a.m. at the Centerville 19th Ward, 900 So. 400 East, Centerville. Beginning at 9 a.m. those desiring can visit with the family at the ward prior to the service. We will lay our Mom to rest in the Centerville Cemetery.
