Vineyard voters retain mayor but oust city councilman

Voters in one of Utah's smallest communities decided Tuesday they want the only man who has served as mayor since it was incorporated in 1989, J. Rulon Gammon, to continue to lead them. He swamped his challenger, Diane Williamson-Edwards, by 42 votes.

Newcomers Grant Holdaway and Randy Farnworth each received 45 votes to oust incumbent Councilman Keith Holdaway from his post.
