A man received only a minor injury when two men opened gunfire through his front door Tuesday night.

When Trevor Jakobsen, 18, opened his front door, 179 35th St., about 10 p.m., two men demanded money his father allegedly owed them for drugs, said Ogden Police Lt. Clark Combe. Jakobsen's father died several months ago in a car accident.Jakobsen shut the metal door immediately and was proceeding to lock it when eight .40-caliber rounds were fired through the door, Combe said.

None of the rounds struck Jakobsen, who was alone at the time. However, he cut his hand on some some metal that had been peeled back by one of the shots.

Paramedics took Jakobsen to McKay-Dee Hospital to get stitches for his cut. Police are looking for a 21-year-old man, the alleged shooter, and a 15-year-old male accomplice.
