Paula Viola Jensen Garritson, 91, died due to natural causes on Nov. 1, 1997, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born on April 3, 1906, in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Charles Johan Jensen and Verona Levine. She married John Garritson on October 4, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Ut. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt lake LDS Temple.She was a member of the LDS Church, Grant 3rd Ward. She was a member of the Painters Auxiliary #58 and a member of the Relief Society.
Paula is survived by her children: Jack N. (Maxine) Garritson, Violet R. Eakins, Jeane (Dennis) Brown; sister, Toots (Wayne) Edwards; brother, Victor Jensen; 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and son, Donald F. Garritson.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, 12 noon at the Elysian Burial Gardens. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 So. State St., Sandy. Interment will be in the Elysian Burial Gardens. Funeral Directors: Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
