Former City Councilman Henry Dickamore upset incumbent Mayor Bill Petty by earning twice as many votes in Tuesday's election.

Dickamore, a retired school administrator, got 478 votes to Petty's 231 to win the post. All results are complete but unofficial.Incumbent Jack Frost held onto his four-year City Council seat by collecting 545 votes. Brent Stauffer topped a flurry of write-in candidates to win the second four-year seat. Stauffer earned 165 votes while Lane Bird had 97, Jan Ukena, 58, and Pam Jones, who originally withdrew from the race, had 53.

Annette Gardner ran unopposed and gathered 626 votes for the council's two-year seat.
