Our cherished wife, mother and grandmother, Lorraine Douglas Worthen, died suddenly Nov 4, 1997, from a heart attack following surgery. She was encircled by her loving family.
Born October 22, 1926 in Salt Lake City, to William W. and Irene Langton Douglas. She was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from South High School. She married Keith J. Worthen on June 29, 1946; they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served in many callings throughout her life. Her unconditional love for her family and everyone she met was her greatest attribute.Survived by her husband, Keith; sons, Brad (Wendie) Worthen; Jon (Susan) Worthen; and a daughter, Kim (Jared) Beck, all of Salt Lake City. Also her grandchildren, Codi, Coleman and Caitlin Worthen; Cameron, Alisa, Stephen and Patrick Beck; Miles, Rebecca and Brooke Worthen, whom she loved dearly. Sisters, Bonnie Cluff and Louise Green, Bountiful; sister, Vivian Qualls and brother, Don Douglas, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 7, 1997 in the Mt. Olympus 10th Ward, 3610 East 3510 South, where friends may call from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
