After a lifetime of adventure, compassion, humor and love, Mable Knudsen Boberg was peacefully reunited with her husband, parents, and family, November 4, 1997.

Born of Mormon pioneer stock, November 8, 1906 to John Knudsen and Emma Christensen Knudsen in Manti, Utah. Resided in Mt. Pleasant until 1916, when she moved to Bingham Canyon where she spent four marvelous decades with unmatched friends and experiences. Graduate of Bingham High School-Class of 1925.Married Austin J. Boberg ("Bo"), September 2, 1930. He preceded her in death, June 22, 1970. Mabe and Bo were sealed March 9, 1996.Mabe and Bo settled in Sandy where they spent many hours hunting, fishing, and laughing together. Mable was a championship bowler and golfer. She particularly enjoyed her friends on the golf course and was the first to be chosen as an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Meadowbrook Women's Golf Association.

Survived by her son, Joseph Knute Boberg and his wife Gloria; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; special friends, LaVon and Sherm Fitzgerald. Preceded in death by sisters, Ann, Gert, Vida and Ruby; and brothers, Dewey, George and Elmer.

Mabe's celebration of life will be held on her 91st birthday at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Saturday November 8 at 11 a.m. Friends may call Friday at the mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial, Sandy City Cemetery.
