Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Henry Miller, Jr., age 97, passed away peacefully November 4, 1997, in Salt Lake City.
Henry was born June 20, 1900, in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, the son of Henry Sr. and Annie Marie Fetzer Miller. He married Frances May Knight on May 25, 1944, in Lordsburg, New Mexico. Henry was an accomplished musician, his life long passion was music. His other interests included fishing and scouting. He served an LDS mission to Switzerland from 1919 to 1921. Served as a High Priest in the Canyon Rim 4th Ward. Henry served his country during World War II. He worked for many years as a Credit Officer at Fetzer's Salt Lake Cabinet. Henry was a kind and loving individual who was respected and admired by all who knew him. Henry's passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.Survivors include his wife Frances, Salt Lake City, one daughter and two sons, Georgia K. (Larry) Larson, Sandy, Utah, Richard K. (Carolynn) Miller, Salt Lake City, Utah, Robert L. Miller, Salt Lake City, Utah; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 1997, 11 a.m., at the Canyon Rim 4th Ward, 3051 South 2900 East. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
