Edward Allen Jones, age 62 died Nov. 5, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born Feb. 26, 1935 to Allen L. Jones and Lucy Jones-Crump in Heber City, Utah. Attended Granite High School. Married Marilyn L. Chorn August 5, 1953, later divorced. Married Lorraine Vanfleet August 22, 1986. Employed with Ford Motor Co. for 47 years. Loved the outdoors, mountains, skiing, dancing and visiting with friends.Ed was very devoted, loving and respectful of his mother.
Survived by his mother, Lucy Jones-Crump and step-father Steve Crump; wife, Lorraine V. Jones; children: Richard A. Jones, Christine Jones, Edward W. (Lisa) Jones, Diane Jones, Kerry M. (Tammy) Jones; stepchildren: Stephanie (Brandon) Smith, Lori (Chris) Fitzgerald, Shelly Reynolds, Danielle Reynolds, Stacy Reynolds. Eight grandchildren; brother, Jack W. (Judy) Jones. He was preceded in death by father Allen L. Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 8, 1997 at 12 noon at the Olympus Stake Center (2700 E. 4500 S.) where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Olpin Mortuary, Heber City.
