The Utah Valley Family History Center, located in Room 4386 of Brigham Young University's Harold B. Lee Library, has announced its Sunday class schedule for November.

Courses are offered on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. The Family History Center is also open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. For information or to obtain a complete schedule of events, call 378-6200.Research classes on Nov. 9 are getting started/research methods at 11 a.m., "on-line" catalog for BYU library books and references at 5 p.m., Ancestral File at 3:30 p.m., IGI at 2 p.m. and stake and ward consultant sharing at 5 p.m.

Special interest classes on Nov. 9 are Spanish research for Spanish-speaking individuals at 3:30 p.m. and archives and Mormon journals and diaries at 5 p.m.

Other classes available on Nov. 9 are introduction to Windows 3.1 and PAF3 at 3:30 p.m., temple names preparation at 11 a.m., PAF3 - the new program at 11 a.m., PAF3 notes and sources at 9:30 a.m., IGI on home computers (IGI 255) at 12:30 p.m., focus list for Temple Ready at 2 p.m. and Family Tree Maker at 3:30 p.m.

On Nov. 23, the classes are indexes and compiled records at 3:30 p.m. and stake and ward consultants at 5 p.m.

Other classes include doing research on the Internet at 3:30 p.m., preservation of photographs at 5 p.m., submitting names to the temple at 3:30 p.m. and editing Ancestral File at 2 p.m.

PAF classes on Nov. 23 include PAF3 - the new program at 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., PAF3 - focus on lists and reports at 11 a.m. and exchanging PAF data with WordPerfect at 12:30 p.m.

A special interest course on computers focusing on family origins will be presented at 5 p.m.
