Police searched the vacation home of JonBenet Ramsey's family for evidence the killer had stalked them or broken into the house, a newly unsealed affidavit shows.
Police searched the house days after JonBenet's death looking for answering machine tapes, caller identification devices and the like, according to a search warrant made public Thursday, along with the supporting affidavit. The search was aimed at determining whether the person who killed the 6-year-old beauty queen in her Boulder, Colo., home last December had studied the family's movements by phoning or sending mail to the two-story Victorian house where the family spent the past five summers.
At the request of news media, District Judge Richard W. May disclosed the documents relevant to the Jan. 5 search.
