Wick F. Huntington, 53, of Castle Dale, died November 4, 1997 at his home after a valiant fight with a prolonged illness.
He was born Dec. 21, 1943 in Price to Feno Leonard and Evlyn Wickman Huntington. He married Glenna Patricia Price in 1964; later divorced. Later married his sweetheart, Marva "Maggie" Hickman November 7, 1992 in the Manti LDS Temple.He was reared and educated in Castle Dale and as an active member of the LDS Church, served in numerous callings including 18 years as ward clerk. He worked for Wildlife Resources and for 25 years worked for mountain Fuel. He was known for his gift of gab and his love for Joe's Valley. He was a rancher and farmer. No greater love did he have than for his family: his wife, Maggie, daughters, granddaughters, brother and sister.
He is survived by his wife, Maggie of Castle Dale; daughters, Melissa and Rich Scheaffer of Logan; Melanie and Lance Robinson of Wyoming; grandchildren, Randi Amanda and Sydney Lee; also survived by brother, Royal Mack Huntington of Orangeville; and sister, Neldonna Baldwin of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 1997 at 12 noon, in the Castle Dale Stake Center. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Castle Dale Cemetery.
