Kathleen Wilson (Bonnie) Bluth passed away Monday evening, December 15, 1997 at the age of 82, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Bonnie was born on May 10, 1915 in Ogden, Utah, to John Leslie and Alice Maud Barker Wilson. She graduated from Ogden High School, Weber College and in 1936 from Utah State University with degrees in Home Economics and Art. She was active in Alpha Chi Omega, a unique group of loyal sorority sisters that held monthly bridge nights for nearly fifty years. Bonnie taught art in the Ogden public schools for several years. On March 12, 1940 she wed Gordon J. Bluth in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised four sons and one daughter and were married fifty three years, until Gordon's passing in 1993. Bonnie radiated the love of her Savior in everything she did. She preferred teaching by quiet and gentle example over preaching and stern rules. She loved nature, art, music and had a green thumb. She blessed her family with an appreciation for life's beauties. She devoted years of humble service to her church in various callings.Bonnie is survived by sons, Robert (Vicki); Alan (Mary); Steven (Robyn) and Brent (Kathleen); daughter, Kathy (John) Wheatley; seventeen grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sister, Ellen (Bart) Wolthuis.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday December 19, 1997 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where family and friends may call Friday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
