Adele passed away Monday, December 15, 1997 due to complications following hip surgery.

She was born October 24, 1903 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frank J. Gustin and Dora Harley Gustin.Adele attended the University of Utah and after graduation married Edward F. Richards who passed away October 26, 1975.

She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Edward G. Richards (Dawn), William S. Richards (Jill), Peter G. Richards (Marilyn), and Joseph H. Richards. In addition to her sons, 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Francis G. Woolley.

Adele was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, former member Chapter K. of the PEO, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Town Club. Adele was a member of the Episcopal church.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Dec. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Eastman's Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, SLC. In lieu of flowers, family suggests gifts to the Utah Chapter of the Nat'l Multiple Sclerosis Society.
