Edward `Grant` Gustaveson, age 90, passed away March 29, 1997, in Ogden, Utah.
Grant was born February 7, 1907, in Holladay, Utah, to Edward Axel and Susan Ada Oliver Gustaveson. He married Helen Claire Bolton on June 24, 1952, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on March 18, 1976. Grant was a Veteran of World War II and a member of the DAV. He was president and board member of the Utah Ostomy Association, giving countless hours of unselfish service over many years. He loved the out of doors, especially his large garden. Other interests included geology, engineering, and genealogy. He constructed a subdivision in Holladay. Letter carrier for U.S. Postal Service, 35 years. Active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully in many positions including four stake missions and chairman of stake single adults for many years.Survived by one sister, Wanda Gustaveson, Holladay, Ut.; niece Cheryl (Ron ) Galli, Ogden, UT; two nephews, Raymond (Flo) Corley, Salt Lake, Ut., and Ronald (Shauna) Corley, Riverton, UT.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 1997, 12 noon, at the Valley View 11th Ward, 4032 South 2300 East. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens. Directors: Holbrook Mortuary.
