After a disappointing week, our harried horses are ready to trade the cold and snow for sun, sand and surf. Silver kept his first-class seat to Florida even after losing $20. Second place Blue Chip fell asleep in the tanning bed and was burned for $56. The saver steeds flew to third, fourth and fifth after planning ahead for their Hawaiian holiday in their usual conservative fashion. Money Market packed in another $9 while EE Bonds and 90-day CD gained $9 and $8, respectively. OTC was bumped from his flight and lost his hotel reservations after losing $87 and falling from third to sixth. Lipper Mutual also may have to stay home and peruse the travel brochures after dropping $25 and slipping to seventh place. Lipper International held eighth but was flying stand-by after a $44 loss while ninth place 30-Year T-Bond lost $49 after his Arizona-bound flight was diverted to Detroit. Gold didn't even get out of town and slept in the airport after losing $6 to hold tenth.
