Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, Octavia Call Neville, age 97, passed away Monday, April 1, 1997 at her daughter's home in Layton.

She was born October 14, 1899 in Bountiful, Utah, a daughter of David and Eliza Dittmore Call. She married John Edward Neville March 24, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away February 23, 1963. Throughout her life Octavia had lived in Bountiful, Utah; Aberdeen, Idaho; and Layton, Utah. She was an active member of the LDS Church having served in many positions throughout her life, such as, Primary teacher, Sunday School teacher, Stake Relief Society secretary, Ward work director-in-charge of quilts, and she had served as a visiting teacher for 60 years. Was also active in DUP.Surviving are two sons, Wendell (Merlene) Neville, Las Vegas, Nevada; Donald (Marge) Neville, Kaysville, Utah; two daughters, Virginia Green, Layton, Utah; Wilma (Arthur) Fowers, Hooper, Utah; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Rachel Burton, Garland, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Marvin C. Neville; one daughter, Elizabeth Neville; and one son-in-law, Elbert E. Green.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 7, 1997, at the West Layton LDS Chapel, 2120 West Gentile St., with Bishop Lowell Johnson officiating. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 N. Fairfield Rd., and Monday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Church prior to services.

Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
