Four Utah cities will join hundreds of others worldwide in observing the 14th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial and Mobilization Sunday, May 4.
A memorial service will begin at Provo Community Church, 175 N. University Ave., at 7 p.m., followed by a candlelight procession to the Provo County Courthouse.An open microphone will be set up at 6 p.m. at Cedar City's City Hall, 110 N. Main, for those who wish to remember friends and loved ones who have AIDS. A procession along Main Street will follow.
A commemoration and candlelight memorial will be held at 7 p.m. in Ogden Municipal Park, 24th Street and Washington Boulevard.
In Logan, a folding ceremony for the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt will begin at 7 p.m. at the County Courthouse, 120 N. 100 West.
