Elizabeth (Beth) Wilde, age 83, of Oakley, UT, died May 8, 1997 in Sandy, Utah.

Born September 4, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Clyde and Nettie Stevens Hall. She moved to Oakley as a young girl.She married Samuel B. Wilde on September 4, 1931 in Coalville, Utah. He died in 1969.

Beth spent many enjoyable winters in Mesa, Arizona, returning to her home on the river in Oakley for the summers. She enjoyed oil painting, gardening, bridge games, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include: son, Wendell Wilde and wife, Bonnie of Oakley, Utah; two daughters, Janice Peterson and husband, Robert Hoyt of Boise, Idaho; Chelta Allred and husband, Don of Park City, Utah; five grandchildren, Trev Wilde; Tyree Wilde; Trina Vidrine; Sonja Ozarslan; and Shea Peterson; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Calvin Hall of Denver, Colorado. Preceded in death by a son, Rex Lee; a grandson, Lance Young, who gave her the beloved name of Dahaw; and two granddaughters, Tamie and Tonya Wilde; and a sister, Enid Blazzard.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 16, 1997 in the Oakley Stevens Cemetery at 6 p.m. Family requests that family and friends meet at the Oakley Town Hall immediately after the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Primary Children's Hospital, Attn: Foundation, 100 Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84113 or to the charity of your choice.
