Eda Esabeth Larsen Eatchel, 95, passed away May 8, 1997, at her home.
Born in Bluffdale, Utah, November 23, 1901, she was the eleventh child of Christen Martin and Caroline Julia Hansen Larsen. She married Harry Burdett Eatchel in Salt Lake City, December 17, 1923. He died September 18, 1972. They moved to Kaysville in 1942. Eda worked for many years as a clerk for Bowman's Grocery store. She was member of the Kaysville 9th LDS Ward.She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Donald B.; a granddaughter, Jeanene; nine brothers and sisters. Survived by a sister, Vina Webb, Bluffdale; three sons and one daughter, Eugene W. (Joyce), West Valley City; Leland M. (Helen), West Warren; Hal J. (Lorene) Salt Lake City; Cleone (Dean) Kynaston, Kaysville; 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 12, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville East LDS Stake Center, 201 So. 600 E. Friends may call at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main, Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9:45 to 10:45 at the church prior to services.
Interment Kaysville City Cemetery.
