A Hurricane woman accused of threatening the main witness in a shooting near Toquerville last week has been charged with witness tampering.

April Renee Bernbrock, 19, was arrested last week after she filed a complaint with Hurricane police against Jason Conner, 22, the man she is accused of threatening.Hurricane Police Chief Lynn Excell said Bernbrock spoke with Conner and then went to police to complain about Conner's response to her alleged threat.
