Former National Security Adviser Anthony Lake, who relinquished his bid in March to head the CIA, will join the faculty of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

While teaching at Georgetown, Lake plans to write a book about American foreign policy, according to Dan Portofield, a university spokesman.On Monday, Georgetown officials plan to announce Lake's new position as a full-time professor for diplomacy. He'll begin teaching at Georgetown in the fall. Before joining the Clinton administration, Lake taught at Mount Holyoke College and Amherst College, which he left in 1992.
