Michael Coleman, one of Utah's premiere historical wildlife painters, is exhibiting his work, "Wild Life and Natural History," at the Everard Read Gallery in Johannesburg, through May. Coleman's exhibit will feature 20 original paintings depicting natural wildlife history and sporting scenes.

- The Utah Historical Society will display a special photo exhibit, "Sinfonia de Imagenes de Mexico Eterno" (Symphony of Images of Eternal Mexico), through May 31 at 300 Rio Grande in Salt Lake City. The display features 50 16 by 20 inch photographs by alumni and students from the renowned Mexican school, Instuituto Cultural de Aguascalientes.- The Kimball Art Center will sponsor "Art From the Attic," a community art exchange on Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Wednesday, May 21 and 28, 2-8 p.m. For more information, contact Peg Bodell at 649-8882.

- The Chase Home Museum of Folk Art will showcase the artistic traditions of Utah in "Creating Utah: The Folk and Their Art." The exhibit features over 130 folk art objects from the state collection, created by 82 contemporary Utah folk artists from 18 counties. The exhibit will run through Oct. 19.

- Acoustic Music, 845 E. 400 South, will sponsor "Wasatch Watercolor, Etc.," an exhibit and sale of fine art, jewelry and pottery created by local artists. - The Museum of Church History and Art will present a four-part lecture series to help commemorate the pioneer sesquicentennial. Part 1 in the series will be Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m. Associate professor of history at BYU, William Hartley, will discuss "The Saints' Three Exoduses from Nauvoo in 1846."
