The Utah women's tennis team lost to No. 25 ranked Arkansas 5-0 at the NCAA regional championships in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Utes were swept in the singles portion of the match winning only one set on the afternoon. Linda Engblom lost in the No. 1 singles spot, 6-1, 7-5 to Maria Pavlidou. Megan Payne was downed by Louise Ostling, 6-2, 7-5 from the No. 2 spot. Junior Angie Olson was defeated by Andrea Ho 6-2, 6-2. In the closest match of the day, RebeccaFoulger lost to Kendra Howard in three sets, 7-5, 2-6, 6-2. Utah's only senior, Diana Marek, in her last appearance as a Ute, lost 6-2, 6-1 to Arkansas' Brandy Brown. Freshman Kim Kelly's match against Adriana Gargia was suspended after Arkansas clinched its fifth and deciding team point.

Utah finishes the season with an 8-14 record.
