Eva June Flowers Adamson died May 8, 1997 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Salt Lake City on June 14, 1912 to Lionel and Sarah Ann Smart Flowers. She married Alexander G. Adamson November 17, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Eva was a proud mother, homemaker and also had a successful career with Owens-Corning Fiberglas and Okland Construction. Her LDS Church work included primary and Sunday school teacher assignments and service in three Relief Society presidencies.

In the community, Eva was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and a member of the Holladay Lady Lions for 54 years. She served as secretary of the Utah Home Builders Auxiliary and was a member of the Salt Lake Council of Women.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lavern Shaw; by two brothers, LeRoy Flowers and Clifford Flowers. Eva is survived by Alex, her husband of 59 years; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Carol) Birch and Mrs. Ross (Marilyn) Clayton; and by a son, Marvin Adamson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13, 1997 at Holladay 10th Ward, 2600 Est Murray-Holladay Road at 12 noon. Friends and family may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive, and one hour prior to services. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
