Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Lela Davis Rowley Grant, 87, passed away May 10, 1997 in Richfield, Utah due to complications of a stroke.

She was born July 16, 1909 in Minersville, Utah to Hyrum E. and LaVern Banks Davis. She married Ivan D. Rowley, May 18, 1925 in Ely, Nevada. He preceded her in death November 4, 1961. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple October 25, 1980. Lela was an active member of the LDS Church serving her ward in many capacities. Her greatest pride was her family and the most enjoyable activities were family gatherings.She is survived by one daughter and one son, Maxine Fielding of Roy, Utah; Ivan Donald (Barbara) Rowley of Richfield, Utah; son-in-law, Bob Jackson of Sparks, NV, 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Trilba Moss, Georgia Ogren, Margurite Masterson all of Uptown, CA., and Lola Banks of Milford, Utah. She is preceded in death by husband; parents; daughter,

Mildred Jackson; and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 1997 at 11 a.m. in the Richfield 11th LDS Ward Chapel, 985 South 400 West, Richfiled. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Tuesday from
