Marilyn Joyce Adams, 17, born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT, died of a sudden cardiac arrest May 3, 1997, while dancing with family and friends at an LDS Institute activity.

Horseback riding, soccer, traveling stand-by throughout the US and Mexico, singing, current events and history, and Monty Python movies were some of her many interests. She attended LDS Seminary and was an active participant in LDS youth activities. She loved reading the scriptures and attending the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
