Ella Putscher, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away May 9, 1997.

She was born April 22, 1908, in Leipzig, Germany, to Arno and Anna, Ida Lucas. Married Paul O. Putscher August 21, 1931, in Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away December 22, 1992.She was an avid gardener, faithful genealogist, and devoted to her family. She attended the temple faithfully.

She is survived by her children, Ruth (Robert) Nunley, West Valley City; Ralph (Jeanie), Taylorsville; daughter-in-law, Marie Putscher, Dorothea (Darwin) Wilkerson, West Valley City; Shirley (Dan) Bishop, Riverton; Gary (Sandie), Salt Lake City, brother, Hans (Ruth) Lucas, Leipzip, Germany; sister-in-law, Else Hess, Chemnitz, Germany; 29 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her son, Paul Jr.; daughter, Sandra Jean; granddaughter, Cheryise Nunley Simar; and great-granddaughter, Darcy Lee Wilkerson.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Cannon 8th Ward, 1172 Glendale Drive. Viewing Tuesday, 7-8 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
