Craig Counsel's bases-loaded double and Todd Helton's 2-run single gave Colorado Springs a 5-run sixth inning and highlighted the Sky Sox's 8-5 victory over Salt Lake City Sunday.

Mike Durant's 2-run homer in the fifth had staked Salt Lake to a 3-2 lead.But Counsel's 3-RBI double and Helton's 2-run single gave the Sox a 7-3 lead.

Jayhawk Owens' RBI double in the seventh closed out Sox scoring.

Salt Lake scored two more runs in the ninth on Kevin Baez's RBI single and a passed ball.

Sox starter Bobby Jones (5-1) went seven innings, gave up five hits, walked three and struck out three. Jones leads the Pacific Coast Lead with a 2.75 ERA.
