City recorder Diane Moss was honored recently as Outstanding City Recorder of the Year by the State's Municipal Clerk and Recorders Association.
"It was a great honor for her," said West Point Mayor Howard Stoddard. "She's a great asset to the city."Moss has served as West Point's city recorder for more than 42 years and is one of the state's veteran recorders.
Stoddard said replacing Moss would be awfully difficult. Still, she may retire in about two years.
