Students and the community are invited to volunteer at the annual Utah Summer Special Olympics, which will be held at Brigham Young University May 29-31.

Volunteers will perform a variety of services at the Special Olympics. Activities range from serving food to encouraging athletes at the finish lines.Opening ceremonies will be Thursday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the Smith Fieldhouse and will include a performance by the Jets. The sporting events will be held every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Events on Saturday will last only until 3 p.m. Closing ceremonies will be at the Helaman Fields at 3 p.m. Saturday.
