Our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, Clarin Sidney Hatch, joined his eternal companion on May 11, 1997 in Richfield, Utah.

Daddy was born on May 17, 1910 in Koosharem, a son of Louis and Emily Christina Christensen Hatch. He married Helen Anna Erickson on May 3, 1937 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti L.D.S. Temple. She died August 9, 1991. Daddy attended school in Koosharem and graduated from Manti High School and later from the Salt Lake Technical College as a brick mason. He was a farmer and also hauled milk to the creameries in Monroe and Loa. He later worked for Richfield Auto Parts, and then moved to Magna, Utah and worked for Kennecott Copper at the Garfield Smelter. After retirement, Dad and Mom moved back to Koosharem, the place they loved the most. They continued to work and do the things they loved; herding cattle and sheep on the Monroe and Parker Mountains; serving a Temple mission in Manti; traveling and enjoying each other. Daddy leaves behind a legacy of love for family and church, hard work and honesty. Although we love you and hate to see you go, we know that you have wanted to be with Mon and have been very lonely here without her. We will be awaiting the day when we will join you and Mom in our eternal family. He is survived by his children: LaWayne and Marian Hatch; LeGrand and Lynda Hatch; Carolyn and Alvin Hardman; Merrill Hatch, all of Koosharem; Clarina and Paul Gillett of Magna; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters: June and Norma Hatch of Richfield; Verona Julander of Monroe; Marcheta and Francis Dial of St. George; brothers and sisters-in-law: Erwin Gleave of Elko, NV; Mary and Don Brown; Merril and Betty Erickson, all of Koosharem; Vern and Marjorie Mott of Loa; Nola Erickson of West Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers and three sisters: Lorin, Golden, Louis, Lois, Albert, Idena and Ardena Hatch and Arnesta Gleave.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 14, 1997 at 12 noon in the Koosharem L.D.S. Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Koosharem, Wednesday morning from 10 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery.
