The Anaheim Angels won the 13-run pool - in one inning.
The Angels tied a team record by scoring 13 runs in the seventh inning Monday night, beating the Chicago White Sox 16-8. Anaheim had 11 hits in the inning, with four players getting two.Each of the first seven players in the Angels' batting order had at least one RBI in the seventh as 18 men came to the plate. Gary DiSarcina, Darrin Erstad, Dave Hollins and Jim Leyritz each had two hits in the inning.
"It's one of those innings where the hitting is contagious," DiSarcina said. "Guys were getting excited. It's definitely a pick-me-up for the whole team."
The Angels needed a boost after going 3-8 on their last road trip. The lopsided victory ended a five-game losing streak.
Garret Anderson drove in the tying and go-ahead runs in the seventh as Anaheim rallied from a 5-0 deficit. Edmonds hit a two-run homer during the rally, which lasted 45 minutes, 48 seconds and included nine singles.
Orioles 5, Athletics 1
Jimmy Key allowed six hits in 72/3 innings to become the first seven-game winner in the major leagues. Key (7-0) retired the first 10 batters before allowing consecutive doubles by Rafael Bournigal and Jose Canseco in the fourth. He allowed one other double and three singles. Key, who improved his AL-best ERA to 1.82, did not walk or strike out a batter.

At Milwaukee, Jeff D'Amico won for the first time since last Sept. 21 as the Brewers won their fifth straight. Milwaukee scored seven runs in the fourth, then barely survived.
Seattle's Ken Griffey hit his major league-leading 16th.
Rangers 4, Indians 2
Will Clark homered twice, and Benji Gil and Lee Stevens also homered for host Texas.
Clark tied the score 1-1 in the fourth off Jack McDowell (3-3), then gave Texas a 3-1 lead in the seventh with his fourth homer of the year, off Eric Plunk.
Twins 12, Blue Jays 2
Minnesota avoided the longest home losing streak in franchise history as Greg Myers went 4-for-5 and scored four runs and Greg Colbrunn also went 4-for-5 with two RBIs.
The Twins, whose nine-game Metrodome losing streak equaled the mark set at Metropolitan Stadium during the 1961-62 seasons, set a season scoring high as they won for just the fourth time in their last 19 games overall.

Marlines 11, Astros 4
At Miami, the Florida Marlins waited out a rain delay, came from behind to beat the Houston Astros, then caught an early morning flight to Atlanta.
Now comes the hard part.
The Marlins, tied for last in the major leagues with four road victories, play 10 of their next 12 games away from home, beginning tonight against the first-place Braves.
Relievers Rob Stanifer and Felix Heredia singled for their first major-league hits and Florida tied a season high with 14 hits against Houston. The Marlins overcame an early 3-1 deficit.
Braves 10, Pirates 2
Chipper Jones homered and Greg Maddux had a two-run double as visiting Atlanta beat Pittsburgh for the third day in a row.
Jones had a homer, double and single in his first three at-bats against Jason Schmidt (1-2).
Rockies 9, Phillies 2
Dante Bichette hit a two-run homer and a two-run double as Colorado stopped its season-high five-game losing streak.
