Police arrested two men and are looking for a California parolee in connection with the armed robbery of a Layton restaurant early Tuesday.
The manager of Applebee's Restaurant, 1622 N. 1000 West, made a 911 call at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday to report the robbery and gave a description of the vehicle the robbers used, according to Layton police.Kaysville police officers pulled over a vehicle in west Kaysville shortly after the robbery and arrested two people, ages 17 and 18, from Salt Lake City.
Police are looking for a third man, Jason Miranda Jacques, 23, now living in Sandy. Jacques is described as a light-skinned black male, 6-feet 4-inches tall, weighing 205 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Jacques is currently on parole from California on an armed robbery conviction, according to police.
Two handguns believed to have been used in the robbery and an undisclosed amount of cash were recovered from the vehicle, according to police.
