Author and lecturer Ardeth G. Kapp will present, "How Firm the Foundation, How Vital the Vision" for the Harold Glen Clark Lecture Saturday, May 24, at Brigham Young University.

Kapp will share experiences of pioneers and other people through-out history who were motivated by a powerful vision of their possibilities and the importance of building strong foundations, said Richard C. Eddy, dean of continuing education at BYU. She will speak at 7 p.m. in the Conference Center auditorium.Kapp was general young women's president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1984 to 1992.

The Harold Glen Clark Lecture honors Clark, founding dean and pioneer administrator of continuing education at BYU and a former Provo Temple president. Parking is available in the parking lot between the Marriott Center and the Conference Center.
