Don King is being sued for $64.5 million by a boxer who says he signed a "horribly one-sided and unfair" contract with the promoter.
Terry Norris, the World Boxing Council welterweight champion, says that his manager misled him into signing the contract in October. The contract gives Norris, 29, "only illusory compensation" for a championship match and binds him to King for virtually the rest of his career, according to the lawsuit filed in New York.
Norris wants the contract declared void and is seeking damages of $61.5 million against King and his company, and $3 million against the fighter's manager, Joseph Sayatovich.
