Sherry Elizabeth Panzer died May 7, 1997 at Columbia St. Mark's Hospital, Salt Lake City following a long battle with breast cancer.
Born December 29, 1942 in San Francisco, California to Harold M. and Elizabeth Riggs. She was married to John Panzer, July, 1971 in Millbrae, California. Career woman, worked for 3M for over 20 years, secretary, credit coordinator, she was a volunteer operations specialist for the Cancer Wellness House. She was a 49'er fan, loved music, all animals and life.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Riggs. She is survived by loving husband, John Panzer, Salt Lake City; loving daughters, Kerri and Julie; loving granddaughter, Camille. Many friends including Carol Coleman, Calif.; Debi Marshall, Salt Lake City, Cheryl, Tiki, Carla and many many more.
Special thanks to Dr. Saundra Buys, Dr. Samlowski, Dr. Gregory Litton, Dr. Mark Shockey, Chaplains Link and Melanie and all the wonderful nurses and respiratory specialist in the ICU at St. Marks.
A memorial was held at the Cancer Wellness House in Salt Lake City on Friday, May 9. Another memorial services will be held in California.
