Doctors say the five surviving babies among the sextuplets born at Georgetown University Hospital are doing well.

The babies, born May 8 to Jacqueline and Linden Thompson, are the first black sextuplets born in the United States.Doctors said Tuesday the four surviving girls and a boy have no major health problems. They are expected to remain in the hospital until the end of June.
