Smart Design Inc., 6178 S. Stratler, has purchased the 15,000-square-foot Hoggan Health Building at 111 E. 12300 South, Draper, for $1.6 million with the help of a loan from the Deseret Certified Development Co. The move will allow the company to consolidate its activities and employees in one location.
Smart Design is a national marketing and advertising company providing retail and graphic design services in all 50 states and several foreign countries.Steve Smart, company president, said, "DCDC helped our business get started over seven years ago. We appreciate their support in helping us finance this building to accommodate our growing business."
Licensed through the Small Business Administration, DCDC provides long-term financing to aid small- and medium-businesses with growth and expansion. DCDC works with local bankers in the process.
