West Valley City will promote home safety by sponsoring the Safe Kids Gear-up Games Friday and Saturday
The event will feature a police information booth, child fingerprinting, home-security and drug-awareness displays, a SWAT team, K-9 demonstrations and DARE officers. Car seat information and safety demonstrations also will be available.The event is for children and their parents. It is scheduled for 3 to 5 p.m. Friday and noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Valley Fair Mall, 3601 S. Constitution Blvd.
