Albert C. Van Leeuwen, Jr., dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away May 18, 1997.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, March 17, 1912, to Albert Van Leeuwen, Sr., and Jane Noorda. Married Annie Taylor, March 5, 1933, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Albert was a High Priest serving in many capacities including scouting, High Priest group leadership, and home teacher. He retired from Kennecott Copper and was also a painting contractor.He will always be known for his sense of humor and cheerful attitude, generosity, friendliness to everyone, loving devotion to his wife, and his commitment to the success and happiness of his family.

Survived by: wife, Ann; son, Neil R. (Joan); daughters, Jane (Dale) Pascoe and Joan (John) Robison; daughter-in-law, Virginia Van Leeuwen; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry, John, Ben and Don. Preceded in death by: his parents; son, Carl; sisters, Margie Eggett and Betty; and brother, Carl.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 22, 1997 at 12 noon in the Lincoln Heights Ward, 606 East 3900 South, Salt Lake City. Viewing Wednesday 6-8 p.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, and Thursday 10:45-11:45 a.m. at Ward. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
