Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Orin Roscoe Labrum passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 1997 following a courageous battle with a lingering and painful illness.

Born August 28, 1915 in Dry Fork Utah to Anna and Roscoe Labrum. Married Thelma Foote on September 6, 1938. She preceded him in death in 1966. Married Velda Metters Clough on may 27, 1967. Often a wide and varied life that included a love for horses. A love he shared with his family. His life led to many successful ventures and eventually led to the grocery business. When he left the grocery business he was fortunate to work with flowers and the outdoors which he dearly loved. His work at both Primary Children's and Cottonwood Hospitals led to his winning the Murray City Beautification Award in 1980.He is survived by his wife of 30 years, daughters Laureen Anderson (Chris) Patricia Wardle (Michael), Sons Richard (Karen) and Kenneth (Vicki) Clough, daughter Marjorie Hanson, 21 grand-children and 10 great grand children.

Orin lived in the Salt Lake Area most of his life and lived for 10 years in Winter Haven resort Washington Utah. The family wished to express their heart felt thanks to the staff at Creek side Home Health care Center for their special care during a very difficult time.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Friends may call Sunday from 5-7 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to service. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
