John C. Needham, 72, beloved husband, father and friend lost his battle with cancer on May 1, 1997.
John served proudly for 20 years with the USAF. He was a veteran of World War II and also served in the Korean Conflict. He was a pilot and loved to fly. Some of his hobbies were cooking, gardening, and car repair. John was also an avid car enthusiast.John is survived by his wife, Silvia; son, John; daughter, Joanna; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 5, 1997, 10 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9757 So. 1700 E., Sandy. Friends may call at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 So. 1700 East, Sunday evening 6-7:30 p.m., where the Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
