The Chauntenettes Chorus will present their annual Spring Pops Concert, "As Long As I Have Music," at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, at the Canyon View Junior High School, 960 N. 700 East.

The choir will offer a wide selection of songs they will be presenting on this year's tour along the Mormon Trail in Illinois and Nebraska. They will give concerts along the way from Omaha to Lincoln, Carthage, Liberty Jail and the new visitor center at Winter Quarters. To assist with expenses of the trip, chorus members will hold a bake sale before and after the concert, and a raffle for two handmade quilts. They will also be selling the group's cassette tapes.

The Chauntenettes are a service organization, and encourage those attending to bring Campbell Soup labels, which will help obtain valuable equipment for the Dan Peterson School for Special Needs Children. Labels may be turned in at the door, or to any chorus member.

The concert is free to the public and families are welcome. For more information call 225-6897.
