A pictorial U.S. Postal Service postmark commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of Southern Utah University may be ordered through Monday, June 2, at the Cedar City Post Office.

The postmark was also available Friday, May 2, at a temporary postal station established near the campus post office.Anything with a postage stamp affixed may receive the postmark. Those wishing to receive it should send a stamped, self-addressed envelope with a light cardboard insert to: Postmaster, Cedar City, UT 84720-9998. The enclosed envelope may be sealed or simply have the flap tucked in. It will receive the SUU centennial postmark and be mailed back to the sender, according to a SUU news release.

"Philatelists, people who collect and study stamps and postmarks, should be interested in this special opportunity. This is also a way for anyone to obtain souvenir of a significant occasion in the life of the university," said David W. Brown, SUU mailroom coordinator.
