A grass-roots movement to train residents under concepts taught by self-help expert Stephen R. Covey will get under way tonight at Provo High School.

Called Uniting Provo's Neighborhoods, the movement will offer residents discount training of Covey's teachings on management and self help. Basically, administered through neighborhood groups, the program will be available to residents at cost.The meeting to kick off the program begins at 7 p.m. Covey, Provo Mayor George Stewart and Utah Gov. Mike Leavitt will participate.

Tonight's meeting is free to the public. At subsequent neighborhood meetings, residents will be asked to pay the costs of teaching materials.
